We're so glad you found us!  Hingham SEPAC is a parent-led group dedicated to supporting, educating and providing resources to parents and caregivers of children in Hingham’s special education community. We are committed to advocating for equity and inclusion for all students receiving special education support services through an IEP or 504 Plan.

Who We Are
What is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)? ​

Since 1986, Massachusetts special education law (Chapter 71B of the Mass. General Laws) requires all public school districts to maintain a Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). The SEPAC is comprised of parents and guardians of children who receive special education services from Hingham Public Schools (HPS).

All parents and/or guardians of children receiving special education services through Hingham Public Schools are eligible voting members of Hingham SEPAC. This includes parents and/or guardians of children on IEPs and 504 plans.
